Our Initiatives

Classroom Connect

Classroom Connect is an initiative that works directly with school to help students learn to speak and read English and improve their pronunciation. 

Research shows that listening to audio while reading accelerates language learning. Our recordings of textbooks, as well as the Magic Tree House chapter series for middle school and higher secondary students, supplement education by assisting with word pronunciation and reading.

Students can read along with these free audio recordings, which are available on YouTube. For students whose primary language is not English, Classroom Connect aims to create a support group for practicing spoken English, helping them succeed by empowering them with knowledge and resources.

Student Connect

The Student Connect initiative aims to establish connections between students to assist in conversational English through tutoring.

Specifically tailored for students, our team of dedicated volunteers serving as mentors, engage students in discussions about school and books. 

Currently, we have students from Brazil whose primary language is not English, and our mentors meet with them virtually on a weekly basis to help practice spoken English.

We support students from middle school, high school, and undergraduate programs in Brazil who participate in the Student Connect Initiative, with intentions to expand our 1 on 1 tutoring to other countries where English is a second language.

Mentorship Programs

Our Mentorship initiative connects students and young professionals with industry mentors for career guidance through collaboration with other organizations.

Mentor-Connect empowers individuals by connecting them with professionals who serve as mentors, inspiring and guiding them towards potential career paths. The nonprofit serves a diverse range of students and young professionals, providing access to resources through partnerships and collaboration with other nonprofits, which helps individuals explore and pursue their potential career aspirations. Acting as a bridge between professionals, other nonprofits and communities, Mentor-Connect.com enables individuals to gain insights, develop professional skills, expand their networks, and build the confidence needed to pursue their futures.
